Test Shots at Second Location Enysford Castle.

Here are some of the shots we took on day two of our first shoot, theses are the varitiy of shoots we took on the day.

Monday 28th February  
 - Camber Sands

Tuesday 29th February- night scenes –
 water scene and bonfire scene.

Wednesday 30th February 
– Ensyford Castle shoot.

Monday 28^th - Camber Sands

ACTORS NEEDED- THE MAIN GIRL ( PAIGE CHAPMAN) THE TWO CONSCIENCES ( TAYLOR BURROWS AND MOLLIE KNAPP)

6.30am- get up.

7am- do hair and makeup for Paige, Taylor, Mollie.

8 am – Leave for Camber

10.30am- (leave room for traffic or diversions) Arrive at camber

10.40am- give crew and actors refreshments.

10.50am- set up camera equipment, whilst actors get changed into their costumes.

11.10am- begin shooting.

12.30am- have lunch break ( look over footage)

1.pm – continue shooting.

4.30pm- start to get dark- start shooting evening ( sunset) footage and the night footage.

6.30pm- Finish shooting- pack up equipment.

6.50pm- Leave Camber sands

7pm- stop off for Dinner on the way home.

8.30pm- arrive in Dartford, drop off actors at houses.

 

Tuesday- night scenes – water scene and bonfire scene.

ACTORS NEEDED- THE MAIN GIRL (PAIGE CHAPMAN) THE TWO CONSCIENCES (MOLLIE KNAPP AND TAYLOR BURROWS) AND ALL OF THE BOYS

1pm- Do the three girls makeup and hair.

3.30pm- Drive them to the field.

3.40pm—arrive at the field.

4 pm- Start setting up water scene.- get the hose from India’s garden- ensure it is on warm; make sure that it can spray at a distance that will reach the field. Test this out, see what it looks like on camera.

4.30pm- Drive two cars into the field. Face each car facing north. The car on the left at 45 Degrees to the right. The car on the right and 45 degrees to the left.

4.41pm- Sunset

5pm –  The boy actors arrive – get all actors into costumes- attend to any costume problems such as wrong size, rips and tears.

5.30pm- set up camera

6pm- Give actors refreshments – whilst going through the procedures of the evening. Show them music video Ms Mr fantasy to give them an clear idea of what we are aiming to do.

6.10pm- begin shooting water scene footage.

7.30pm – 10 minute refreshment break.

8.30pm- stop shooting, and check through footage.Get actors changed and India and one other car drives boy actors home.

8.40pm- Leave the field and drive back to my house.

9pm- Start creating bonfire. Get stylist to do the three girls makeup- have dinner whilst getting ready.

9.30pm- start shooting.

11pm- finish shooting.

11.20pm- The girl actors stay round my house to prepare for next morning waking up at 7am for Ensyford castle shoot.

 

Wednesday – Ensyford Castle shoot.

ACTORS NEEDED- EVERYONE – THE MAIN GIRL (PAIGE CHAPMAN) THE TWO CONSCIENCES (MOLLIE KNAPP AND TAYLOR BURROWS) AND ALL OF THE BOYS

7am- do the three girls hair and makeup.

8.30am- me and India drive to pick up the boy actors and drive them to Enysford Castle.

9.30am- drive back home and pick up the three girl actors- bring technical equipment and costumes.

10am- start setting up props and camera. (Whilst actors get changed into costumes)

10.20am- Talk to the team and go through the overview of the day.

10.35am Begin Shooting

12.30am – Lunch Break

1pm- Carry On shooting.-Paige costume change x8 Shoot the eight flashback scenes.

3.pm- carry on with the rest of the storyboard which involves all actors.

4.30pm- check through footage.

Rising and setting times for the Sun.

This is important to consider as our camber sands shoot will be shot at sunset and then at night. So its important we know what time in the day it starts. The 28th of october is our first day of shooting. It states that sunset will be at 4.41pm as the clocks would have gone back. Therefore we have to ge the actors in earlier to prepare to shoot for this time.

Going out and finding costumes for the main girls- Paige Chapman and one of the consciences - Mollie Knapp

Mulitclipping a performance music video I created.

This was my practice at multi clipping an music video that I had to film in a group with Rosie. We filmed five clips that I then embedded into Final Cut Pro- and edited into a multiclip vido where I was able to play the clips in synch with the music, whilst changing the shots with the beat to the Arctic monkeys track.

Creating the storyboard

Here, me and India stayed round my house to create and complete the sotryboard. We done two versions of the storybaord. The first was the one we completed round my house; this was where we used the actual images from music videos combined with our own images. This allowed us to see visually exactly what we want our shots to look like through taking inspiration form relevant music video's that relate to our genre, target audience and artist. 

 

This is the second one where we laid out the previous storyboard and made more accurate drawings that were all drawn by us and so we didn't have any actual images from music videos within it.
