Feminism / Post feminism
—Feminism = a movement (c. 1960s) promoting the rights of women to be equal to men and arguing that women should no longer dress and behave as men wish them to.

—Post-feminism = movement arguing that women have now achieved equality and should be free to dress and behave as they wish without doing so for the benefit of men. Use of Irony and reclaiming sexuality - not exploitation
Example: Girls Aloud.
Post-feminist icons?
Objects of male gaze?
Exploited or powerful?
Role models for women?

well either way it will benefit men- as they will enjoy it and also tats how they get moen y

controlled by men - take your clothes off otherwise cant get money
dont take your clothes off in the past

alternatively- women corntol men take their money form them and now how to exploit them through their sexuality. dont get judged as harshly.

The girls are dressed provocatively and are free to dress this way due to society expecting it. without doing so primarily for the benefit of men as they can get money off of them and take advantge  of there free use of sexuality. However, it can also be perceived that men enjoy looking at it still which does benefit them as they can look at the women provocatively also that th women may be getting money but it is through  men - so take your clothe off otherwise cant get money.

 Postmodernism: Hyper-Reality - Baudrillard
—Representation of reality or simulacra
